Hi, I’m Malou, short for Maria Lourdes. I was named after Our Lady of Lourdes in France. Mom to RMi and Ria, godmother to Carrie. I’m the oldest of 5 siblings and we were raised by hardworking blue-collar parents. A geek and a nerd, I’m a Mathematician by education and an IT Architect by trade. I retired from County of Sacramento in 2022, but I unretire to be a fulltime IT Consultant for State of Hawaii later that year. I sing for St Ignatius Parish choir and serve at St Ignatius and St Philomene God’s Bounty every week. I’m also an open heart surgery survivor and 3x cancer survivor. I wake up everyday feeling blessed that I get to live another day. AMDG.
